The EGO-VIRGO FRONTIERS team facilitated online workshops on Friday 29 May 2020 for  Science teachers in Italy.  The workshop demonstrated learning activities to support the teaching of Gravitational Wave Astronomy in the classroom.

The workshop lasted one hour and during this time, the participants were introduced to FRONTIERS, they were presented with an overview of the project demonstrators and discussed in detail the : “Pendulum”, “Michelson Interferometer” and “Virgo Control (Class)room” scenarios for Gravitational Wave Astronomy.
The participants were motivated to participate in the workshop and expressed interest to interact further with the FRONTIERS approach with their students.

The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Valerio Boschi (INFN), Prof. Stavros Katsanevas(EGO), I. Marini (Liceo Scientifico Dini) and supported by E. Chaniotakis (Ellinogermaniki Agogi).
